11 month run down:
-Activities: He is everywhere! Love to crawl and push scooter toys around. He can stand on his own and will take a few steps, but is too timid to try walking yet.
-Words: He said his first word, "gook" for book around 9.5 months and especially loves his bathtime books. He'll say Dada, Aaaa (Alex) and some sort of two syllable word that means "all done."
-Toys: favorites include his music table, stacking cups, soft blocks, scooter toys, BOOKS!
-Eating: all organic when possible! oatmeal, egg yolk, chicken, turkey, sweet potatoes, green peas, green beans, squash, carrots, apples, bananas, blueberries, blackberries, puffs, avacado, strawberries, cheese, yogart, blackberries (and a lot of other food I know I am forgetting!), started finger foods about a month ago. I still make all of his food and he loves the "chicken casserole" I make him - chicken, sweet potatoes, spinach, green beans, bananas and carrots (yum!).
-Bedtime: points to CD player wanting music and waves at his stuffed animals. Loves his "bear" and smiles everytime he sees him in his crib. He rarely cries when he wakes up and just talks to let us know it is time to come and get him! He is still taking 2 naps a day.
-Alex: we are learning that we do NOT feed Alex from our booster seat.
-Nursing: Still nursing!
I was able to catch up with several good friends while there and enjoyed a day filled with breakfast, lunch and coffee meetings. I snapped this picture while walking past where I use to live on Capitol Hill! It seems like forever ago....
This is Cousin Livie, James ADORES her! We don't know what he would do if he couldn't play with her during the week.
